photo friday – a English countryside sunset

Happy Friday everyone – not too long until the weekend!

I've decided to challenge myself a regular Friday post this year, where I’ll share a photo of something I've tried to capture ‘artistically’ during the week. Hopefully this will encourage me to take more photos of London, my current home.

Thanks to Jess from This Analog Adventure  for the Friday Photo link up as well.

English countryside sunset in Cambridge

I snapped this photo at a country pub – 30 minutes drive just out of Cambridge last Sunday, when out for a pub lunch with my brother, sister-in-law and niece. Can you believe this was the 4pm view from the window next to where we sat?

Have a lovely weekend.

  1. LOVE the silhouette of the chapel and trees against the beautiful sky! Great capture! And I cannot imagine living in a place where it gets dark so early. It getting dark around 5 here in the Pitt, PA is hard enough.

    Cheers,

    1. Thanks for stopping by Alyson. It is getting slightly lighter in the evenings here now, but I guess in general you just get used to the darkness.

  2. I'm glad I found you through the linkup, I just read your wedding post and I JUST bought some origami paper to try to fold some shapes, so you've given me some inspiration to start out on :)
