Bali, Indonesia - #AtoZtravel

Sunday, November 02, 2014

Bali is a great holiday destination - fantastic culture, art, beaches, weather, food and coffee. I guess that's why it's so popular with Aussies who holiday there year round. Yep, there's no getting away from the Australian accent while in Bali!

My top four Bali memories...

1. The amazing sunsets. Every day.

2. The beautiful terraced rice fields in the middle of the island that span from high up in the hills right down to the sea level. We stopped here for the afternoon and enjoyed a cup local coffee - as strong as it gets!

3. The cheeky monkeys at Uluwatu Temple. Yep, that's my hubby's hat. Lost forever.

4. Fresh seafood feasts served right on the beach. My favourite was the grilled lobster with garlic butter. Yum! And did I mention the sunsets?

This November I'm blogging every day in a A to Z travel challenge, where I'll share some of the amazing but more obscure places I've travelled to in the world as I make my way through the alphabet.

If you'd like to join me on this travel blogging challenge please do. I'd love to hear about some of your favourite travel destinations. Tweet using #AtoZtravel and I'll retweet you, or just share your posts in my comment feed. Enjoy and Happy #AtoZtravel November!
